Close views of several male Whinchat in song, Wheatears and Ravens on Esgaer Irfon. On the common above, two groups of Dotterel went over north (8am and 12.30pm) making that lovely tinkling call - damned if I could see them though! They had probably just left the stony Drygarn Fawr/Fach area, and continued their migration. Cuckoo in Tywi Forest, with Stonechats, Coal Tits and a Mistle Thrush making impressive mimicry of a song-flighting Golden Plover! Also a male Ring Ouzel seen 3 times close to a new breeding site in the forest.
