21/04/2024 at Monmouthshire and Brecon canal

Afternoon walk from Brecon to Talybont. Highlights were Curlew heard in fields near the Cambrian Cruisers marina, Mute Swan nesting at the marina and Chiffchaff with nesting material nearby. Pied Flycatcher checking out a nest hole in woodland beyond the marina, Dipper in a stream under the canal, Goosander on the Usk, Redstart near Talybont, Treecreeper, Bullfinch, Stock Dove, numerous Sand Martin nearer Brecon.
