A Greenshank was present throughout the 2 hours I spent at the sailing club floods along with many hundreds of Sand Martins and a handful of Swallows and at least 2 House Martins. Finally in the last 10 minutes the Garganey came into view for several minutes in the company of 3 Gadwall but everything was flushed by a flyover Osprey. Redstart, Garden Warbler and Reed Warbler in song. 40 Teal and single male Shoveller were also there but only a single pair of Tufted Duck
