Goldfinch - 11/02/2011 at Glasfynydd Forest

Ring description: METAL Natural history museum ring on right leg: X35?774

Despite numerous attempts to fully read the tag I missed one digit, however, bto successfully identified as a female ringed at Upton Magna, Shropshire on 27-Feb-2009 , 110km away. This individual was a stunner with exquisite markings and stance, the picture (in gallery )does not do it justice. The bird only stayed for 3 days during a really cold period during early Decmeber during which temps went below -10°C.
