Edward Bird has confirmed that this female was ringed along with its mate and 2 of 3 cygnets on the Wye at Hay on 13.8.05. It was not thought that they had bred locally as later in the day the family group was chased off by a dominant pair. This family group was then at Glasbury from 19.8.05 to 27.9.05 which is the last record until now.
