Sighting location: TTV - Pen-y-Crug, Brecon. Sighting date: 16.6.08
Highlights were: flock of 8 Stock Dove, 2 singing Chiffchaff, 4 Linnet (2m + 1p), 1 Tree Pipit, 2 House Martin, 2 Swift, 2 Sing Thrush, 1 Spotted Flycatcher, 4 Yellowhammer (2 sining males plus a pair), pair of Willow Warbler, 7 Skylark and 8 Mipit.

Sighting location: Near Beulah. Sighting date: 16/06/2008
Pied Flycatcher's fledged this morning from nest box in garden. Other 5 nestboxes are empty. Family party of 10 Long Tailed Tit's with some juveniles still being fed by adults. Party of 5 magpies including 4 in cirle on smallish rock.

Sighting location: brecon. Sighting date: friday the 13th
kingfisher and five young ones feeding. nest spotted soo location not given to protect them.
dippers x 4 2 of them fishing. fantastic to see.
grey wagtail 4 seen 1 building a nest another feeding its young.
1 wren building a nest close by

Thanks Mich, I wasn't aware of that. It was its brown colouration that led me to a juv.

Blue tits fledged the nest on wednesday 11th June.

Sighting location: TTV - SO22G - Cwm Banu & Grwyne-Fechan. Sighting date: 13.6.2008
34 species; - a lot of song mid-morning but not much positive breeding evidence, but great to get House Martin in the valley. Three Cuckoos still echoing around the valleysides and a Tawny Owl obliged with its presence. But so few tits !! Just managed to get one family party of each of Blue and Great; and just a single Coal. Mistle Thrush numbers equalled all other thrushes and chats added together.

Sighting location: Llangasty, Llangorse Lake. Sighting date: 9pm 13th June 2008
Barnacle Goose pair now with only two goslings. 364 adult Canada Geese included a separate 22 supervising a creche of 56 goslings. Also 2 GBBGull, 20 LBBGull, a male Whinchat, a Redshank, 1m/2f YWagtail. The white 'farmyard-type' Goose was also present.

Sighting location: Brecfa Pool / Glasbury. Sighting date: 13.6.08
Yellow-legged and LBB Gull still perched in middle of pool. Also 7 Tufted, 21 Coot + 2 juv, 2 pair of Linnet, 1m Bullfinch and a juv Red Kite flew over. 12 Mute Swan by Glasbury bridge.
