Adult Grey Heron with yellow wing tags, lettered 'BC' in black writting. Anyone know if this is a local ring? Reported to the BTO.

Grey Partridge Female on A470 verge heading south towards Libanus. Just after last house on left hand side 1/2mile before libanus

On Mynydd Aberyscir this afternoon a Redwing with 2 Mistle thrush. 2 late Wheatear also on top by trig-point. 13 Skylark flushed from bracken and a flock of 20-30 Goldfinch in pine trees at north end. Juv Buzzard also present.

Gull roost tonight; 2850 LBB Gull, and 530 BH Gull.

Highlights were; Yscirfechan; 2 Marsh Tit & 2 RKite. Pentwyn Uchaf/Range; Fieldfare heard, Skylarks over, Snipe, 3+ Yellowhammer. Ty Rhys; Dipper in song on Yscir Fawr.

6 Gadwall (3m + 3f), 18 Wigeon (mixed with group of 100+ Canada Geese), 29 Teal, 3 Lapwing, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 27 Cormorant and 4 Grey Heron

172 Mallard and male Mandarin still present. 4 Goosander on Brecon Prom yesterday.

Kingfisher, 6 Buzzards circling, female Sparrowhawk. Also 62 BH Gull, 22 Mallard and a pair of Mute Swan

Single Redwing feeding on elder berries 8Oct. Most likely that a small party of Thrushes in conflict with Blackbirds in adjacent conifer on 5Oct were this species, but no clear identification was then possible.
