Ref. acceptance and use of records posted on this website. I have yet to discuss this with the County Orn Committee, but I would envisage that most records would be acceptable without the need for confirmation at the year end. We would, of course, request written field details for County & UK rarities (see List in Annual Bird Reports), in the usual way. Also we reserve the right to reject records outright if, frankly, too unbelievable!

Entry added by: John Harper on Sun 30th September 07, 07:54pm Sighting location: Glangrwyney. Sighting date: 23 Sept 2007
Ref note on Swallows migrating - just to clarify time. Time when movement tailed off should have been 1900hrs - not 1700.

Entry added by: John Harper on Sun 30th September 07, 07:36pm Sighting location: Wherever. Sighting date: of question
Query to Andrew King: As I am new to the site - you alerted me to it a few days ago since I am very much off the edge of Brecknock "circles" - can I assume that records posted here are acceptable notification for your database ? Clearly you will contact me (or any other person for that matter) if you want further details. Gwent don't accept records from the website but insist on separate forms being filled in, unless they've changed.
