Male Sparrowhawk made at least 20 unsuccesful raids on our bird feeders during the course of the day. Often perching on top of the feeders after a near miss. Before christmas we had a much more succesful female Sparrowhawk hunting for several days, taking numerous blue tits and at least one nuthatch.

'Sinensis' Cormorant very nice, whilst watching it a Pintail swam past probably the one from Brecon canal that I couldnt find yesterday! Lots of Canada's, Golden Eye, Coot's, Tufty's and Mallard's. Several Wigeon and Gossanders, two mute Swans. I have photo'd the Sinensis but the image is quite poor. I will upload it anyway and try to take a better one tommorow.
